Your change is coming!

Updated: Oct 26, 2021

Galatians 6:9 - "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

We have have all been touched by the pandemic in one way or another. There are those who flourished through it however, right now I'm talking directly to everyone who has had to endure loss, fear and disappointment. Be not dismayed because your change is coming.

One bright Fall day, I watched a storm roll in. It took moments to gray the sky, whip the colorful leaves from the trees and ground and dump a load of rain onto the town. Helpless, I watched plants get pounded. Worldwide, that's what we felt, helpless. The aftermath of the rainfall left debris, loose branches and leaves littering the ground. Everything that was loose shook and fell. It damaged some beloved plants but I salvaged what remained.

When I looked at the weather report that day, it told me approximately when the storm would start and when it would end. The storm we have been living through shook relationships, jobs, and brought some of us to our knees. The issue is that when storms like the pandemic, job loss and illness come, we aren't always given a start and end date. We have to trust God that our times are in His hands. To encourage us through these times, we have been given a promise in the Bible, Galatians 6:9.

Galatians 6:9 - "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

Can you see the leaves?

The season will change. If we do our part, it is inevitable. Don't give up. Don't back down. Keep moving forward doing the best you can. If you do, the promise is that your season will change and you shall reap if you faint not. So, my prayer for you is that you hold on to faith although it may appear as if things are not changing. Like the leaves on the trees, eventually, there will be evidence of change in your life. Be encouraged. Keep praying, God hears you even when it doesn't feel like it. Keep believing that you have been kept for a reason. Eventually, you shall reap if you faint not.
